Bert is known for his unwavering faith to Jehovah God, and for his love of Family. He was a hard worker, a great dad and papa. always willing to help others. He is preceded by Darlene, his wife of 65 years. He is survived by his children, Dianne, Mark, Joe, Tim, Tom, Darryl, Debbie, Tanya, Tamara, Darlene, and Bert. He is also preceded by his sons, Jonathan and Daniel. Bert is loved by hundreds whose lives he touched within his extended and spiritual families. Bertram Carl Nicke (dad, papa) will be deeply missed.
[Bert] said to Jehovah: “You are my refuge and my stronghold"
God said: “Because [Bert] had affection for me, I will rescue him.
I will protect him because he knew my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in distress. I will rescue him and glorify him.
I will satisfy him with [everlasting] life, And I will cause him to see my acts of salvation.”
Psalm 91:2,14-16
